TRUMP Fires Back at Springsteen’s Bold Claims…

In a striking move, John Fogerty praised Bruce Springsteen for confronting President Trump, highlighting a rare solidarity in the music world.

Springsteen’s Bold Stand Against Trump

During his 2025 European tour, Bruce Springsteen made headlines by openly criticizing President Trump from the stage. In his performances, Springsteen described Trump’s administration as “corrupt” and urged his audience to resist authoritarianism. These remarks, delivered in cities such as Manchester, were part of Springsteen’s long-standing tradition of political commentary, which has been a hallmark of his career.

Springsteen’s comments did not go unnoticed. Shortly after his European tour concluded, President Trump took to Truth Social to address the musician’s statements. While the exact wording of Trump’s response wasn’t detailed in reports, it was clear that the President felt compelled to react publicly to Springsteen’s accusations. This exchange underscores the power of celebrity voices in political discourse, especially when directed at the highest levels of government.

John Fogerty’s Support and Critique

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, John Fogerty, the legendary rock frontman of Creedence Clearwater Revival, expressed admiration for Springsteen’s courage. Fogerty commended Springsteen for “sticking up for his values” and not shying away from speaking his mind. Furthermore, Fogerty criticized Trump’s decision to publicly target Springsteen, suggesting that it was a misstep for the President to engage in a feud with a figure as influential as Springsteen.

This support from Fogerty highlights a significant moment of solidarity among musicians who oppose the politicization of their art. It also reflects a broader trend where artists are increasingly vocal about their political stances, challenging figures of authority when they feel their values are under threat.

Implications and Industry Impact

The exchange between Springsteen, Fogerty, and Trump has broader implications for the music industry and political discourse. High-profile artists like Springsteen wield substantial influence over public opinion, and their statements can ignite significant media attention. For Trump’s administration, engaging with such critiques can perpetuate the news cycle, potentially galvanizing both supporters and critics.

For the music industry, this situation reinforces the importance of clear policies regarding political use of music. Artists may further clarify their stances on how their works are used in political contexts, possibly leading to more formalized agreements and public declarations regarding such use. The intersection of music and politics continues to be a dynamic and influential force in shaping public dialogue.

  1. Where were all those standing resisters of authoritarianism, when Obamacare was rolled out with Pay Up, or Pay a Fine, claiming a savings of $2,500 per year per family? And again when healthcare costs doubled during his administration? Or when 40 million people lost their jobs, and got some chump change through congress while government workers sat at home collecting a check the entire time? Doctors, nurses, military, police everybody had to get the jab, or lose your job.
You certainly did not complain as inflation increased by 23% from Joe Biden pissing money out the door through his 4 years in office- not a word of complaint.
Did the boys in the band work for free, or gladly collect the cash from the ticket sales, and profits by resales by scalpers? Anybody get a discount? Most likely NOT.
Singers are just like politicians, claiming to be for the little guy, but DO nothing to help Americans, only specific groups of people. Where is the money the democrats promised for the last 60 years of “screwing the rich to pass on to you”!
And you still believe them when they come around for your vote (and especially your CA$H) every 2 years. That is icing on the cake of grift from foreign countries, corporate donations, PACs, and the billionaire class
Trump has a better vision for US than any Democrat who RESISTS. They are ALL failing in their jobs, that they feel entitled to for life. Talk about authoritarians, they cannot resist the mirror.
Where are the 300,000 unaccompanied minors that disappeared during Bidens term? Why has every government employee that touched paperwork between 2021 & 2025 been grilled, or lose their job? Only the Democrats know, they have their own “Epstein Islands” all around the world.

  2. LISTEN UP…I Stand by the Golden Trumpet. As the LORD GOD had Appointed Me to Do So. Who is Higher in Rank than GOD???? From SamuraiQueen aka CHIAKIA. 😄😄😄😇😇😇😉😉😉

  3. Grow up Springsteen. You still have an adolescents resistance to adult thought and values. Do you really want criminal aliens running loose in the USA? Don’t you care about young women, daughters, wives being raped by these beasts? Stick with your fiddling and Peter Pan gigs. You could never do the job of U.S. President, and neither have any of the Democrats in that office for the past several decades. Try becoming an adult and realizing that Americans want less crime, ending destructive so-called protests in cities and towns across our Country. And that it requires enforcement by our police forces to return our country to normality.
