I think making De Santis the VP will help to unite the Republican Party. I was hoping for a VP candidate from a swing state that might be useful in beating Biden which would leave out Tim Scott of South Carolina who might have helped with the black vote, but he also is from a strong Rebublican state. I also like Ted Cruz but he is possibly too controversial and again he is from a Republican state. I thought De Santis would be better as the attorney general because he would clean up the Department of Justice and the FBI, but all things considered, De Santis is the best VP candidate. Furthermore, he could help clean up the DOJ and the FBI while being the vice president.
They were my two choices from the very beginning.Trump and DeSantis can’t beat the two together.

I like the combination providing DeSantis isn’t a Rino or deep state Trojan horse operative. It would have been a dream ticket a couple of years ago, before he ran for President against Trump, now not so sure. Trump is wiser now after having bad players inside his last administration. So, I’ll trust whatever he decides. As for the Republican Party, well they will have to do a lot of damage control before I’ll trust them again. Until now I hope, they have just been a wing of the Marxist (Democrat) party. Still not convinced that the GOP isn’t just a wing of the Uni-party that inhabits the swamp. I think this is wonderful,and would be the best duo possible for Republicans.They both are excellent at what they do.Trump really helped the economy,and so much more.He has shown he’s great at dealing with other world leaders(he can sell rice to China,and calm Russian and North Korean leaders down,handle Iran)But i feel that he didn’t do enough to stop all the rioting,theft,attacks and destruction of cities,when it was starting.Desantis would’ve nipped it in the bud.So,they both have experience,and so much to offer our country!
A wise choice. I’d vote for both of them. Trump can teach DeSantis a lot, but DeSantis generally does the right things for the people as does Trump.
I can only hope that the Republican party will finally see the light and come together to firm a strong conservative front against our left moving government. The party has been weekend by its failure to stand united over the past decade. President Trump exposed this fracture and it MUST be healed if we are to regain control of our great country. Smart move for both Trump and DeSantis. Putting personalities aside and going for the long-term benefit of America. Other Republicans should take notes. Trump would only have one term left and the experience would help DeSantis move into a solid, strong leadership role as POTUS in 2028.
