Although 2019 just arrived, there have been many interesting developments, particularly in the world of politics. New coverage from Townhall reports that Democrats are gradually imploding, even if some people aren’t fully aware of that.
The Fall of the Democrats
Put simply, the fall of the Democrats is happening due to their own policies and loathing of President Trump. First and foremost, the government has been shut down for nearly 28 days due to Democrats’ refusal to work with the president on funding proper border security. Although Democrats have continued to publicly place the blame on Trump, there are still some people who aren’t too happy with them.
Next comes the Democrats’ affliction of Trump Derangement Syndrome. Since the inception of Trump’s political journey, Democrats have been after him and eager to stop him. Since his election to the White House, Democrats have called to impeach him, used virtually everything they have…and still failed. Some Democrats are more outspoken about their desire to impeach Trump; others are more discreet, but at the end of the day, Democrats do not want President Trump in the Oval Office. They’ve made that more than clear.
The Self-Inflicted Fall
Ultimately, the fall of the Democrats is self-inflicted. They’ve become so consumed with hating Trump and doing everything they can to oppose him. Instead, Democrats should focus on their constituents; they should also be more concerned about the American people and put differences aside for the sake of the nation.
Thus far, the Democrats have yet to reach these levels of awareness.
