As America continues to live with President Biden in the White House, many areas across the nation are dealing with the adverse consequences.
Texas, for instance, has been forced to use resources on apprehending cartels and other criminals pouring across the Southern border. When President Biden slashed the immigration reforms from the Trump administration, he opened Pandora’s box; now, states and taxpayers are forced to pay the price.
Minnesota is also another area having some challenges under the Biden administration. Minneapolis, Minnesota continues to suffer night after night riots from left-wing agitators with no regard for law, order, or civility.
However, a new poll shows that of all the places in the United States, Washington D.C. is ranked as the worst place, Breitbart News reports.
The Worst Place in America
According to a YouGov survey, a competition involving all 50 states, along with the District of Columbia, resulted in D.C. coming in the last place. This means that Americans largely view D.C. as the worst place in the nation.
The individuals conducting the YouGov survey did, however, provide some insight into the possible reasons for this outcome. Per the pollsters, D.C.’s status as America’s capital could be one reason why it ranked last of all. Another possibility is the reality that Washington D.C. is not a state in America.
Democrats in Washington, D.C. are putting the American people last.
Americans do not want open borders, a packed Supreme Court, or the Second Amendment infringed upon.

Only states that ranked poorly in the YouGov survey included Mississippi, New Jersey, and Alabama. By contrast, states which ranked well in the YouGov survey included Hawaii, Florida, and Colorado.
Could D.C. Become the 51st State?
At this time, the Democrat Party is fighting tooth and nail to make Washington D.C. the 51st state. Leftist lawmakers in the House of Representatives are already preparing to vote on this after approval from the House Oversight Committee.

H.R. 51 is subject to a Senate filibuster; however, Republican state attorney generals have already warned President Biden and Congress that the only way D.C. can become a state is via a constitutional amendment. GOP attorney generals recently warned in a letter to the president that they will take legal action if Congress passes a bill to grant statehood to Washington D.C.
