Uncovering Global Scams: Safeguarding Education from Immigration Fraud

America’s universities are under siege—not by declining test scores or curriculum battles, but by a surge of fraudulent foreign student applications. Under President Biden’s watch, dangerous visa loopholes are turning colleges into easy entry points for illegal immigration, threatening both national security and the credibility of U.S. higher education.

Fraud Running Wild in America’s Universities

Investigators say some universities are reporting up to 65% of international student applications as fraudulent, particularly from countries like India and Bangladesh. At Portland State University, officials saw an explosion of foreign applications—only to find that most of the admitted students never even showed up. A deeper look revealed that many applications were filled with fake transcripts, counterfeit documents, and even made-up identities.

Corrupt foreign agents have turned student visas into a black-market racket, reserving slots only to flip them for cash. These operations are flooding the system with junk applications, overwhelming admissions offices, and turning America’s schools into unwitting accomplices in global immigration fraud.

Biden’s Open Border Policies Fuel the Loophole

Under the Biden administration, immigration enforcement has been neutered—and foreign nationals have taken notice. Curricular Practical Training (CPT) programs, originally meant to give students real-world work experience, have become backdoor job programs for foreign workers who skip the H-1B visa process entirely.

Many students enter through respected institutions, only to immediately transfer to diploma mills offering “day-one CPT”—a policy that lets them start working immediately with little oversight. Cleveland State University officials confirm this tactic is widespread, as students chase easier job access rather than legitimate education, leaving hardworking Americans behind in their own job market.

Trump Exposed It. Biden Enables It.

The Trump administration’s “University of Farmington” sting proved just how deep this problem runs. That fake university operation caught hundreds abusing the system, and exposed the vulnerability of our immigration infrastructure. But since Biden took office, there’s been little appetite to enforce the law.

Rather than fix the system, liberal education groups are brushing off the data, more concerned with appeasing foreign recruitment firms than safeguarding America’s values.

“The system is cracking,” one immigration analyst said. “This isn’t about learning anymore—it’s about gaming the system to get into the U.S. by any means necessary.”

If we don’t tighten oversight of shady transfer programs, crack down on foreign recruitment scams, and restore Trump-era enforcement policies, our student visa program will continue to be a Trojan horse for unchecked immigration.

America’s education system should not be a gateway for fraud. It should be a sacred institution for those who come to learn—not to cheat, lie, and exploit Biden’s weak policies.
