As the 2020 presidential election carries out, left-wing candidates continue to adopt radically insane policies and then double down when they face criticism. Democrat Beto O’Rourke is a prime example of this; weeks ago, O’Rourke had the audacity to stand on a debate stage and tell Americans, “hell yes, we’re gonna take your AR-15, your AK-47!”
When real, gun-owning Americans challenged O’Rourke on his love for gun grabs, he doubled down. During this week’s fourth Democrat debate in Ohio, O’Rourke stated that he expects his “fellow Americans” to comply with mandatory buyback programs; he furthermore warned of “consequences for those who fail to toe the line.

Then, on Wednesday morning, O’Rourke sat down for an interview with MSNBC and threatened police-enforced, door-to-door gun confiscations for those “fellow Americans” who hold onto their rightful property.
To say that Beto O’Rourke doesn’t learn would be the understatement of the century. Therefore, President Trump had some choice words for O’Rourke while hosting yesterday’s re-election campaign rally in Dallas, Texas, reports Breitbart News.
Trump’s Take on Beto O’Rourke
When discussing the 2020 Democrat, President Trump took aim at O’Rourke’s mannerisms and his policies as a presidential candidate. First, Trump noted O’Rourke’s tendency to flail his arms, something which O’Rourke did excessively when announcing his candidacy for president.

Then, the president censured the “very dumb” ideas of mandatory buyback programs and cutting tax-exempt status for different religious organizations. Trump, furthermore, pointed out that O’Rourke poor policies would never fly and get support in a state like Texas.
In the president’s own words:
“I called him [the] flailing arms, remember? Nobody noticed it, I noticed it, the flailer, remember he was flailing all over the place. […] Beto in a few short weeks got rid of guns and got rid of religion – those are not too good things in Texas to get rid of!”

Where Does O’Rourke Stand in this 2020 Election?
At this time, Beto O’Rourke is hovering around the 2%-3% margin in the polls. That’s not impressive, by any means, but in light of O’Rourke’s horrific, anti-American policies, he should be thankful to be above 0%.
Last night, in response to the president’s rally, O’Rourke held his own counter-rally in Dallas, but didn’t get nearly as much of an audience. When going after the president, O’Rourke stuck with the typical, left-wing talking points which assert that Trump is supposedly “trafficking in hate” and otherwise employing various means to divide the country.
At the end of the day, it’s all bluster with no real substance, just like O’Rourke’s presidential campaign.
