Trump Rallies with Supporters in Ohio, Takes Shots at Democrats

President Trump started off the month of August by hosting a campaign rally with his supporters in Cincinnati, Ohio. This rally comes after two nights of the second Democrat primary debate. During both Tuesday and Wednesday night, Democrats spent their time going after the president and pushing for radically far-left policies. Of course, this comes as no shock; although, left-wing candidates who aren’t doing well or gaining momentum are likely to drop out between now and the third primary debate.

During his time before the Ohio crowd, President Trump covered a variety of relevant matters, as noted by Fox News. Trump talked about the various Democrats who are currently defining and representing the party in 2019. Current events, such as controversy over the management of Baltimore, Maryland, were also mentioned.

A Closer Look at Trump’s Message to Supporters

As the president convened with supporters, he mentioned the perils of “The Squad.” Comprised of Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ayanna Pressley, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib, “The Squad” has repeatedly feuded with Trump over policy matters and his statements on events happening in this country.

Towards the beginning of the rally, the president branded the aforementioned congresswomen as “four left-wing extremists who reject everything that we hold dear.” Contrary to what progressives believe, Trump’s assessment is spot on.

Since “The Squad’s” time in the House, they’ve called to abolish the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and end Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Furthermore, Omar and Tlaib have both made anti-Semitic statements about Jewish politicians and the Holocaust.

Additional matters covered by the president included the poor management of Baltimore, Robert Mueller’s testimony and Democrats’ support of unlawful entry into the United States. Over the course of this year, various progressives have openly expressed their support for government-sanctioned illegal immigration.

The 2020 Election Season

Although the 2020 presidential election is still in its earliest stages, progressive desperation has never been more apparent. The president is constantly under attacks from Democrats who are eager to disparage his image. Since the left-wing lacks real and viable policies to run on, they’ve decided that slandering Trump and issuing false accusations of racism are the best paths forward. The current political climate is bound to get nastier between now and November 2020.
