President Trump and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi have maintained an interesting relationship for quite some time. While the president previously praised Pelosi, his assessment has changed in the wake of her work to block his various policies and ram the hoax impeachment via Congress.

Impeachment proceedings have officially reached a stalemate, seeing as the House Speaker refuses to transfer either one of the articles over to the Senate. By Pelosi’s own admission, she’s got a series of guidelines and stipulations which she’s attempting to force the Senate into cooperating with. Meanwhile, the GOP majority Senate maintains that the Speaker should either hand over the impeachment articles or expect the body to move on to other issues.
On the final day of 2019, President Trump had some words for Pelosi’s delaying tactics. Taking to Twitter, Trump pointed out the hypocrisy, noting the urgency that the House Speaker once placed on the crusade to remove him from office.
Why Trump Sees Pelosi as “Most Overrated”
The president shared his thoughts about the House Speaker in one, simple tweet. Trump kicked things off by reminding Americans of how Pelosi once wanted to “move quickly” and referred to him as a “danger” to the United States. This is something which the Speaker has done on multiple occasions, even claiming that the president committed bribery and a series of other impeachable offenses.
Trump also held Pelosi to task on the lack of bipartisan support for impeachment. As a matter of fact, the only bipartisan element associated with the Democrats’ sham impeachment was the resistance against it. The president pointed out that not one House Republican supported either impeachment article; furthermore, Trump noted that even a minority of House Democrats dissented and didn’t vote for the articles.
Finally, the president concluded his tweet by stating that the Democrats’ lack of a real case is the true reason why Pelosi is hoarding the impeachment articles. Trump then branded the House Speaker as “all lies” along with the “most overrated person [he knows].”
What is Nancy Pelosi’s Strategy?
The longer the House Speaker chooses to hold onto impeachment articles, the more people begin to wonder what her hidden strategy and motivations are.
Now, like President Trump, some Americans maintain that the Speaker is simply holding onto the articles out of fear. Other people, by contrast, believe that Pelosi hopes to pressure more moderate Senate Republicans into voting to remove the president from office.

Regardless of what the House Speaker’s reason may be, none of this looks good for her. After all the time and millions of taxpayer dollars that House Democrats wasted, they have an obligation to either turn over the impeachment articles to the Senate immediately or call off the sham and admit that they did all of this for absolutely nothing.
