The attacks on the Trump administration continue, as various groups now seek to divide and conquer.
Earlier this morning, the president sat down for an interview with Fox & Friends; during this interview, Trump expressly affirmed that he will not fire his White House counselor, KellyAnne Conway.
Reviewing Calls for Conway’s Termination
The Office of Special Counsel maintains that Conway’s public statements in interviews and social media posts have breached the Hatch Act. The Hatch Act is legislation which restricts the manner in how political federal government can be. Henry Kerner, the special counsel of the aforementioned office, has stated that the recommendation is not politically biased or motivated in any way; although, there are many people who may understandably have trouble with believing this.
However, Conway isn’t going anywhere. The president did not mince words earlier this morning when he explained why he will keep his White House counselor on board his administration.
In Trump’s own words:
“I’m not gonna fire her. I think she’s a terrific person. She’s a tremendous spokesperson.”

More from President Trump
Throughout other segments of the interview, President Trump articulated his perception that the Office of Special Counsel is infringing upon Conway’s rights to free speech. Furthermore, Trump stated his decision to decline to ask Conway to censor herself.
“It doesn’t work that way. A person wouldn’t be able to express themselves, and I just don’t see it.”
Reactions to the President’s Interview
Liberals are losing their minds over President Trump’s decision to continue employing KellyAnne Conway. Interesting enough, many on the left-wing are acting as though there is no political bias or anti-Trump undertones beneath these calls for Conway’s dismissal.
Despite the advice from his office, Kerner has admitted that the choice to fire or not to fire KellyAnne Conway rests with President Trump. As seen in the interview, the president has clearly spoken and made up his mind.
