Trump Calls For Americans to "Pray for" Pelosi

President Trump and Democrat leaders have consistently maintained a contentious relationship with one another. The Democrats’ decision to go off the rails and launch an impeachment inquiry into the president hasn’t helped the situation either.

To make matters worse, Democrats continue to act as if the inquiry is warranted, despite the reality and the facts. As time passes, it becomes more and more apparent that impeachment is going nowhere; this is especially obvious in light of House Speaker Pelosi’s decision not to hold a vote on the inquiry.

Yesterday, the president convened with Pelosi and other Democrat leaders regarding matters in Syria. However, the meeting came to an abrupt end when the latter party stormed out of the room, as reported by Breitbart News.

Trump later stated that Pelosi succumbed to a meltdown prior to leaving and called upon the American people to “pray for her.”

A Closer Look at the Meeting Between Trump and Congressional Democrat Leaders

In the wake of the failed meeting, Congressional Democrat leaders have attempted to spin the narrative in their favor and paint Trump as the guilty party. Both Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer claimed that the president couldn’t handle the reality of Syria and that he lacked a plan to fight ISIS.

Trump, however, has a different account of events which transpired:

When speaking with the press, Schumer claimed that Trump insulted Pelosi, despite her trying to keep her cool. Quite frankly, it’s not shocking to see Congressional Democrat leaders attempting to demonize the president; it’s a trademark leftist move, especially when things aren’t going in the direction which they’d like.

Schumer’s remarks to the press read as follows:

“The President had no plan, no real plan for containing ISIS other than relying on the Syrians and the Turks. […] He was insulting, particularly to the Speaker. She kept her cool completely, but he called her a third-rate politician. He said that there are communists involved, and you guys might like that. This was not a dialogue. It was sort of a diatribe, a nasty diatribe, not focused on the facts.”

Will Trump and Democrat Leaders Convene Again?

At this point, only time will tell whether or not Congressional Democrat leaders will be able to sit down for another meeting with the president without storming off.

Thus far, Democrats do not truthfully have the best track record when it comes to working with Trump; to date, they continue striving to undo the outcome of the 2016 election. This comes in spite of the fact that Democrats lack evidence and the necessary votes to impeach this president.
