At this time, there are 25 Democrats who are running to win the nomination to represent their party in the 2020 presidential election. The first Democrat primary debate has already commenced; in fact, there were so many candidates who qualified to appear on stage that the debates had to be split into two parts.
Each of the current candidates is eager to prove themselves as worthy opponents to take on the president, although many are not polling above 1%. This can be at least partially attributed to the high number of running candidates.
Believe it or not, there is at least one more Democrat who is thinking of launching a presidential campaign. That person would be none other than environmentalist and liberal billionaire Tom Steyer, as documented by Fox News. Steyer has repeatedly launched ads calling for the impeachment of Donald Trump. Now, Steyer believes that he is fit to become the next president of the United States.
A Closer Look at a Potential Steyer 2020 Campaign
Steyer has announced that he may declare candidacy as early as this week. This is quite fascinating, especially since the environmentalist previously stated that he would not run due to approving of certain present candidates. Apparently, Steyer has now changed his mind and decided to give it a go. There are rumors that he will announce his candidacy as early as tomorrow.
If Steyer does actually decide to run for president, he will be right at home with the plethora of other radical leftists who despise Trump. Aside from funding billions of dollars in inane, anti-Trump, and pro-impeachment ads, Steyer has also accused the president of lacking strategy amongst other things, per his Twitter feed.

It is a very real possibility that Tom Steyer will jump into the race and become the 26th Democrat to run. However, despite his billionaire status, Steyer will not be any different from the other candidates in the race. The fact of the matter is that the Democrats have become known as the party that hates Trump and loves promising freebies. It’s a monotony which is old and played out.
If Steyer truly believes that he will be the one to take down President Trump, he is as delusional as the 25 Democrats who are presently running to win the nomination.
