Tlaib Plays Victim: Trump "Goes After Me" Because of Ethnicity!

Playing the victim is so deeply etched into the Democrat Party that it’s who they are. If Democrats aren’t purporting themselves as victims, they’re claiming that other groups of people are victims. The left-wing lives and breathes to divide various groups of people as either oppressors or victims, depending upon the color of their skin. When Democrats are called out for this type of cowardly, negative behavior, they then turn around and claim that any and all of their critics harbor racism.

House Rep. Rashida Tlaib is no exception to this pattern, not by a long shot. During an interview earlier this week, the congresswoman claimed that President Trump censures her because of her ethnicity, not because of her policies.

While The Daily Caller News Foundation reported these statements from Tlaib, she couldn’t be more inaccurate. Criticism from the president has never regarded Tlaib’s ethnicity and she knows this.

Tlaib’s Latest Comments on the President

The congresswoman spoke about her thoughts on criticism from Trump during an interview. Apparently, the notion of the president taking issue with her anti-Semitic statements, alliances with known anti-Semites like Rep. Ilhan Omar, etc is unfathomable. Instead, Tlaib persists in maintaining that Trump is “not focused on [her] policy agenda; he’s focused on [her] ethnicity, [her] background.”

Furthermore, the congresswoman stated that she often cries when she’s reminded of her visit to migrant detention centers at the Southern border:

“I’ve cried in the legislature. I think my residents have seen me be me, and be real. Every time I even talk about the child I saw, who could not have been more than 4 years old, when I took a trip to a border detention center in Texas with a congressional delegation, I just start crying again. The image won’t go away.”

Hiding from the Truth

Falsely accusing the president of launching race-motivated attacks in the best way for Tlaib to deflect and avoid confronting the real issues. It doesn’t make her comfortable when Trump calls her out on her terrible policies and anti-Semitic takes; therefore, by playing the race card, Tlaib is able to present a strawman argument, demonize the president, and push the narrative that she is somehow a victim in all this.

Over the past few weeks, Tlaib has launched various oral attacks against Israel, including supporting BDS; then she wonders why Israel chooses not to allow her into their country. At the end of the day, all of Tlaib’s problems are that of her own making, not due to her race.
