Yesterday, President Trump and Democrats abruptly ended a planned policy meeting after he called out Democrats on their baseless, neverending investigations into him and his administration, reports Fox News.
Shortly after this incident, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi accused the president of having a “temper tantrum,” thus prompting him to fire off a scathing rebuttal via Twitter today.
A Closer Look at the Issues Between Trump and Democrats
Earlier this morning, President Trump took to Twitter to air the following grievances with the Democrat Party and their leaders.
In the president’s own words:
The president’s remarks come as Democrats continue to push claims that he obstructed justice during the Russia investigation and furthermore assert a need for an investigation into this matter. Congressional Democrats are moreover pushing to impeach the president and gain access to his confidential, financial information. For some reason, the Democrats are under the impression that Trump’s financials will indicate some type of wrongdoing or crimes. Therefore, it is understandable why the president believes that Democrats are grasping at straws and just looking for anything.
Shortly after the meeting between the president and Democrats went awry, Pelosi openly accused him of engaging in an impeachable offense.
“The fact is, in plain sight, in the public domain, this president is obstructing justice and he’s engaged in a cover-up and that could be an impeachable offense.”
The Do-Nothing Party
Time and time again, Democrats continue to show the American people who they are and what they truly stand for. It is not a pretty picture. Instead of sitting down and working with the president yesterday, Democrats chose to hurl flagrantly untrue accusations and continue beating a very dead horse. So many issues with the Democrat Party stem from the attitude of their leaders and Congressional members.
