Swing Voters are Disgusted by Far-Left Policies

Throughout the 2020 presidential election, the Democrat Party has embraced radical, far-left policies without showing an iota of regard for the interests of America. In a nutshell, 2020 Democrats are all about raising your taxes in order to coddle illegal aliens and pay for programs which will be run and operated by the government.

Many Americans have warned about the peril of these extremely far-left policies. They may appeal to radical progressives and socialists, but other individuals with their heads on straight will run for the hills and straight to the ballot to vote against whomever the Democrat nominee is. Just like in 2016, Democrats aren’t listening to what Americans have to say and they’re going to pay for this error in November 2020.

New coverage from Breitbart News confirms that swing voters are absolutely disgusted by the policies which Democrat candidates have put out and called for Americans to embrace.

Everything You Need to Know about Swing Voters’ Positions on Leftist Policies

From a realistic and objective standpoint, the best play for attracting swing voters, independent voters, etc. would be to take more moderate stances, rather than going so far left that it veers into socialism and communism. However, as previously stated, the left is not listening to the American people. Leftists have no interest in what Americans want because they view themselves as the almighty Democrat candidates who know best.

Findings from Alexander Agadjanian, a Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) researcher, are very revealing. Following the left’s announcements of all their radical policies (Medicare-for-All, Housing-for-All, free college, etc.), swing voters are 6% less likely to vote in favor of a Democrat candidate over the current president.

In a nutshell, the more that swing voters learn about the Democrat Party, the less likely they are to be supportive of the Democrat Party in this upcoming election. So, as many people have already stated, the radically left policies aren’t doing the Democrats any favors, no matter how much they try to convince themselves otherwise.

Primary Elections vs. General Elections

In a nutshell, these latest findings go back to the differences between primary elections and general elections. During the primaries, left-wing candidates can get away with being radicals because certain members of their party love it. When the general election season rolls around, the Democrat nominee and the Republican nominee each must appeal to more than just voters in their own party.

As it stands, President Trump’s policies are best positioned to appeal to more than just Republican voters. Democrats, on the other hand, are only getting support from extreme leftists. Biden, Sanders, and Warren may be the leading candidates now; the story will be very different once the Democrats pick the nominee to face President Trump.

2020 is going to be an interesting ride which ultimately arrives at a victory for President Trump.
