Since Trump’s ascension to the presidency, he has worked wonders when it comes to the economy. From a booming stock market to millions of new jobs, record unemployment lows for countless demographics of people, and more, no one can credibly deny that the economy is better, stronger, and thriving in Trump’s America.

Despite the aforementioned accomplishments of the president, lies from Democrats are par for the course. The left, for all their bluster, knows that the economy is one of Trump’s strongest areas. Furthermore, Democrats know that their own poor economic policies don’t stand a chance against the president’s already-proven, successful ones; therefore, the left only has one course of action and that entails moving to foster doubt over how Trump has benefited the economy.
This is precisely what 2020 Democrat Tom Steyer chose to do during a Face The Nation interview yesterday, as documented by Breitbart News.
A “Terrible Economic President?”
During Sunday’s interview, Steyer immediately went after the president on the economy. This is a strategy that the 2020 Democrat repeatedly talks about, both on debate stages and elsewhere. Throughout the New Hampshire primary debate, Steyer repeatedly opined that Democrats should attack Trump on the economy, a move that he isn’t hesitating to employ.
When speaking with Face The Nation, Steyer branded President Trump as a “terrible economic president” who only employed “very short term fixes” to economic issues.
The former hedge fund manager also repeated the leftist, disinformation talking point claiming that Trump’s only economic benefits have gone towards wealthy individuals and giant corporations. Finally, Steyer concluded his assessment by writing off millions of new jobs and record unemployment lows as “very superficial short term juice” and avoidance of “actual long term prosperity of Americans.”
Trump’s Results vs. Leftist Disinformation
Tom Steyer and other Democrats can go on air and lie about the president’s economic accomplishments as much as they want. These lies will not change the reality or the current state of millions of Americans who are benefiting, working, and doing better than ever because of Trump.

The fact remains that leftists cannot credibly present economic policies that are contrary to Trump. Socialist policies vs. America First policies is not a good look; the latter will win each and every time, especially in general, presidential elections. Democrats know this which is why they’re running scared and reduced to spreading disinformation in the hopes that enough Americans will buy it.
