The Democrat Party’s regression into extremism has caused progressives within their party to turn on their more moderate-leaning counterparts.
Now, anyone on the left who isn’t a flaming socialist is either forced to toe the line or ridiculed for refusing to do so. In the wake of all this, Democrats have also started referring to moderates within their party as not “bold” enough; this claim is the latest talking point to force far-left policies.

As the left continues to eat their own, it appears as though House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will soon be the latest casualty, if she isn’t already. While speaking on an Alabama radio show, GOP Rep. Mo Brooks explained that House Democrats view Pelosi as “too conservative” and she may lose her job as a result, per reports from Breitbart News.
Why House Democrats View Pelosi as Too Conservative
The notion of Pelosi being anything close to a conservative is absolutely laughable. However, House Democrats feel otherwise because the Speaker did not immediately jump on the impeachment bandwagon.
As a matter of fact, there was a time when Pelosi told the public about the divisiveness of impeachment and the paramountcy of bipartisanship before moving forward with impeaching a president.
However, Brooks claims that pressure from the radical Democrats prompted the House Speaker to shift gears. According to the Republican representative, Pelosi is now “at risk of losing her speakership” since House Democrats don’t think she’s liberal enough. Brooks furthermore claimed that the “pressure” placed on the Speaker is why America is currently in the middle of watching an impeachment inquiry play out.
Setting the Tone
Brooks is not the only American to assert that Pelosi is being controlled by the radical left. Not too long ago, the president also censured the House Speaker, stating that she fears the wrath of the progressive wing within her party.

If Pelosi is unable to take a stand and influence the people she’s supposed to be leading in her party, that speaks volumes. What else will the radical House Democrats pressure the Speaker into supporting and getting behind? At this point, the Democrat Party is ensuring their own demise and damaging their party more than any Republican could ever dream of doing.
