Radical left-wingers continue to go after President Trump and make baseless, unfounded accusations in response to his handling of coronavirus.
As the president works with doctors and other members of the COVID-19 task force, Democrats keep proving that getting in digs at Trump is more important to them than the lives and livelihoods of Americans.
Yesterday, socialist Democrats held a virtual press conference to discuss Trump’s reaction to coronavirus. Rep. Ayanna Pressley, and one-fourth of the socialist “Squad” professed, without evidence, that Trump’s reaction to the virus mirrors war crimes.
Pressley’s comments were made as several other leftist congressmembers and progressive activists tuned in, reports Breitbart News.
Why is Pressley Accusing President Trump of War Crimes?
The congresswoman declined to offer any concrete proof to support the idea that Trump’s response to COVID-19 is “akin” to the commission of war crimes. Pressley did, however, state that America is playing “catch up” and that Trump has engaged in “criminal negligence” along with “a sluggish response” and “science denial.”

Other Democrats who were part of the conference hung onto Pressley’s every word. After the “Squad” member concluded her unfounded accusations against the president, she then claimed that America should not return to the normality that existed pre-coronavirus. With all this in mind, Pressley’s and other Democrats’ interest in sneaking far-left legislation into future coronavirus relief bills also shouldn’t come as a shock.
Wariness of Government Overreach
The past few weeks have demonstrated the importance to be vigilant. Likewise exists the need to resist government overreach.
Some places in America are reopening; however, this doesn’t mean that Democrats will abandon their attempts to use coronavirus for their own political gain. Pressley’s assertion that our country shouldn’t strive towards a return to normal speaks volumes, in and of itself.
