Ther reality that Democrats often lie and do whatever is necessary to advance their political agendas is no secret. Time and time again, the left-wing paints false narratives, wrongly points the finger at critics, and otherwise manipulates their base of supporters. Democrats know that if they can tap into the fear and outrage of certain people, getting votes will be much easier.

On Tuesday night, Democrat candidates convened with one another in Iowa for one more debate before the state’s caucuses. During this time, the candidates talked about a series of matters including impeachment, Trump, and the state of the economy. Towards the end of the debate, moderators gave candidates an opportunity to provide closing remarks which they want to resonate with Americans.
When Sanders had his turn, he incorrectly declared that “half of our people” earn merely $9.00 to $10.00 per hour. As documented by Breitbart News, this assertion simply isn’t true and moreover debunked by data from the U.S Bureau of the Census.
An Analysis of Sanders’ Lie about Americans’ Wages
Contrary to what the socialist candidate would like for the American people to believe, “half” of everyone in this country is not earning only $9.00 to $10.00 per hour. This is a lie that Sanders spewed for the sake of making his big-government, socialist policies seem more appealing and humane. The reality is that under a Sanders presidency, Americans would earn significantly less income, yet fork over considerably more earnings to the government.
Per information from the U.S Bureau of the Census, roughly half of American workers earned more than $41,000 last year; on the flip side, the other approximate half earned below this amount.
If you do the math regarding Sanders’ claim, he’s stating that half of Americans earn $20,800, the number that one’s income would amount to at $10.00 per hour over a workweek of 40 hours. Due to the annual median personal income resting at $41,000, it’s impossible for “half of our people” to be earning just $9.00 to $10.00 an hour.
The Great Socialist Lie
Bernie Sanders, being the socialist that he is, bears responsibility for perpetuating the great socialist lie. That lie maintains that Americans are struggling because the government is not involved enough in their lives; as per usual, the left has it backward. There are a variety of reasons behind economic hardship, although the presence of government is the problem, not the solution.

Sanders is no friend to Americans workers or folks seeking opportunity, regardless of how much he tries to claim otherwise. Each and every one of Sanders’ policies, from Medicare-for-All to free high-speed internet access, will weaken innovation and incomes, rather than foster them. If Sanders truly cared about the earnings of workers, he’d keep his socialism and radical leftism as far away from politics as possible.
