Birds of a feather flock together. This saying rings true not only in everyday life, but also in politics. Individuals who share similar outlooks on policies and reforms have a tendency to support one another, especially against competition.
In America, radical leftists and socialists certainly stick by the pattern of rallying together and standing by each other’s sides. Despite the deeply unpopular proposals which far-leftists continue to put out, they all remain committed to this course of action; a significant part of that commitment entails propping up likeminded individuals.

This past weekend, House Rep. Rashida Tlaib traveled to Detroit in order to officially endorse the campaign of 2020 Democrat Bernie Sanders, according to Fox News. This endorsement comes approximately one week about fellow congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez also stumped for Sanders at one of his rallies.
A Closer Analysis of Tlaib’s Endorsement of Sanders
Like her fellow House Democrat, Tlaib believes that Sanders and his policies should be elevated to the White House. When speaking before the crowd, the congresswoman declared that America deserves a president who “writes the damn bill.” This little catchphrase is a reference back to a line Sanders has used at presidential debates when challenges on Medicare-for-All payment plans.
Tlaib also took the liberty of sitting down for a video strictly of her Sanders endorsement. In the footage, the House Democrat praises Sanders for his interest in “transforming the structures in place.” What Tlaib declined to mention is that the type of transformation Sanders is striving towards would never make it through a general election or even through Congress.

As you can imagine, Sanders is milking this latest endorsement for all it’s worth and hoping that it’ll bring new support to his campaign.
The End Result of Electing Socialists into Office
Seeing various far-left congress members endorse a candidate like Bernie Sanders is not shocking. The more socialists manage to weasel their way into office, the more emboldened and empowered they’ll feel. People like Bernie Sanders have deluded so many unfortunate individuals into believing that life is all about freebies and handouts.

Reps. Rashida Tlaib and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez may be all in for Bernie Sanders, but it appears as though the higher-ups within the Democrat Party are not. Sanders has already started to complain about the media intentionally censoring good news about his campaign and glossing over him beating out various in-party rivals in polls.
This reality, combined with the DNC’s purposeful conspiracy against Bernie Sanders in the 2016 election, makes it highly unlikely that Sanders will ever get within sniffing distance of the Democrat nomination. Socialists can endorse Sanders as much as they like; although, it won’t cause him to win his party’s nomination or defeat Trump in a general election.
