Principal Found Dead Alongside Her Child and Husband at Prestigious School

Along with her spouse and kid, the headmistress of a famous private school in Surrey was discovered dead.

Shocking Death

Epsom College leader Emma Pattison, in addition to her husband and their seven-year-old daughter were discovered to have lost their lives at the school.

Just last September, the teacher began working at this particular school where she was much loved. At Croydon High School, she had formerly served as head for six years. In October 2022, Epsom College received the title of “Independent School of the Year.”

Despite the current probe, Surrey police stated that they thought it was an isolated event and no other parties were involved. At one in the morning on Sunday, they were summoned to the $42,000 per year school.

In a statement on behalf of the whole Epsom College community, Dr. Alastair Wells, chairman of the school’s board of governors, said he wanted to express the school’s complete shock and sorrow at this dreadful news.

He continued by saying Emma’s relatives, friends, and dear ones, as well as the many students and coworkers whose lives she touched over her illustrious career, are in their thoughts and prayers right now.

He also said Emma was a fantastic teacher, but she was also a beautiful person. Once it’s safe to do so, they will, with Emma’s family’s desires, remember her and her family.

He said for the time being, it has been kindly requested that everyone allow the grieving loved ones the space, time, and consideration they need to process this sad loss.

Dr. Wells informed parents in a mail that both employees and students will have access to counselors for counseling.

The 1853-founded school has more than 850 students, both boys and girls. MP Sir Michael Fallon, presenter Jeremy Vine, and comedian Tim Vine are among the alumni.

As per Companies House, Pattison’s partner, George, had been a chartered accountant and the director of a management consulting company named Tanglewood in 2016.

Detective Kimball Edey of the Surrey Police told reporters they want to assure the public that they will undertake a comprehensive inspection into what happened yesterday night and expect to be able to provide some comfort in these difficult conditions.

Insp. Jon Vale, stated, “We’re aware that this terrible incident would have disturbed and created anxiety in the local community and for the children at this school.”

Police are Investigating

Although it is thought that this was an isolated event, the local police will stay in the neighborhood in the days ahead to reassure the kids, families, educators, and the general public.

The detective says they thank the community and the institution’s understanding and tolerance while the case is pending. The coroner has been informed of the three deaths.
