House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is bound and determined to persist with the narrative that the ongoing impeachment sham is designed to protect the Constitution.
She’s made this claim when speaking during press conferences and in various interviews. However, constantly claiming this narrative as truth isn’t going to make it stick. The fact of the matter is there’s just too much evidence which proves that impeachment proceedings couldn’t be less about rule of law in America.

On Sunday, an interview of the House Speaker discussing impeachment with Face The Nation hit airwaves. In the aforementioned interview, Pelosi dismissed the GOP as “in denial” about the truth on impeachment, per reports from Breitbart News. Moreover, the Speaker of the House also expressed the belief that even responding to Republicans is a waste of her time.
Pelosi on Impeachment and Republicans
When speaking about Republicans, Pelosi took an incredibly dismissive and defensive disposition. The House Speaker noted her “real discomfort level” with addressing the plethora of concerns which Republicans have raised about impeachment; then, Pelosi professed that the GOP’s arguments are full of “quicksand” and “misrepresentations.”
The House Speaker’s assessment of the GOP and the right-wing’s stance on impeachment is fascinating; it also comes at an interesting time. Multiple witnesses who testified before Congress only further proved that there was no quid-pro-quo.
Furthermore, several Democrats with connections to the impeachment coup have already been caught in lies on multiple occasions; Shifty Adam Schiff is a prime example of this. Schiff hasn’t been truthful about the whistleblower, the Trump-Zelensky phone call transcripts, or a series of other related matters. If anyone’s in denial, it’s the Democrats, not Republicans who are unmasking the truth.
The Reality Behind Pelosi’s Remarks on Impeachment and Republicans
If the House Speaker truly felt confident in this impeachment inquiry and its upcoming outcome, she’d be more than happy to answer questions from and about the GOP. The dismissal of Republicans and admitted “discomfort level” with addressing the concerns of the right speaks volumes. Quite frankly, Pelosi’s remarks on Face the Nation were a smokescreen and an attempt to conceal the truth.

No matter how much Pelosi or any other Democrat tries to run and hide from this reality, they’re never going to impeach Trump. The president hasn’t committed any crimes and the Democrats don’t have the necessary support for impeachment. Proceedings that Americans are currently witnessing are bound to result in failure, along with every other attempt to rewrite the outcome of the 2016 election.
