As Democrat leaders persist in moving forward with impeachment, they’re facing some very real questions about how they anticipate matters playing out in the Senate. No matter what the House does or doesn’t pass, impeachment dies without the necessary Senate votes.
Right now, this particular chamber of Congress is under GOP control and Republicans have clearly expressed that they are not supportive of this ongoing coup to remove a duly-elected president.

On Tuesday, a Noticias Telemundo interview of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was officially released. Throughout the interview, Pelosi claims that Democrats “don’t know” that Republicans will actually shut down impeachment proceedings in the Senate, per reports from Breitbart News.
The House Speaker’s laughably untrue remarks come as multiple congressional Democrats have taken aim at Senate Republicans, believing that the latter will tank their sham of an impeachment.
A Closer Look at Pelosi’s Remarks on Impeachment and Senate Republicans
When speaking with Pelosi, the interviewer noted that despite what House Democrats do with their treasonous impeachment campaign, Senate Republicans will “probably not go forward with anything on impeachment.”
However, the House Speaker interjected, telling the Noticias Telemundo interview that “we don’t know that.” Pelosi then went on to state that the GOP Senate “hasn’t seen all of the facts” before claiming that Republicans’ failure to “uphold their oath of office” and “protect the Constitution” shouldn’t stop Democrats from continuing on their current course of action.
So, in a nutshell, Pelosi is standing by the narrative that Democrats are running their coup for the good of the country and not because they’ve consistently sought out ways to remove this president since at least January 20, 2017.
Anyone who is honest with themselves knows better and sees this sham for what it is. Pelosi, herself, may not even believe what she’s saying. Democrats have been talking about and trying to impeach Trump since he became president.
The Reality About Impeachment
Pelosi can say whatever she wants during interviews, but political theatre does not change reality. Democrats are, once again, flying blind with no basis or evidence to back their coup of an impeachment. President Trump, President Zelensky, and the transcripts of the phone call with Ukraine show that no quid-pro-quo happened.

The Senate is not going to support impeachment. Pelosi knows this, no matter what she says, and House Democrats know it too. That’s why they’ve been attacking Senate Republicans and throwing temper tantrums in the press.
Democrats may have deluded themselves into thinking they’re fighting some great fight, but in reality, leftists are merely proving to be their own undoing.
