Attacks from opposing parties and different sides of the aisle are par for the course in American politics; however, certain attacks reach unique levels of irony when they come from certain individuals with various troubling track records.
There’s no better example of this than House Rep. Ilhan Omar. Over the course of Omar’s career in politics, she’s made anti-Semitic comments on Twitter, denigrated the seriousness of 9/11, and backed the BDS movement. If that wasn’t bad enough, the congresswoman has also decided to align herself with other individuals who loathe this nation and aim to tear it apart.

Still, Omar somehow believes that she’s the arbitrator of what’s good or evil. On Sunday, the congresswoman had no issue with slandering the Republican Party during an interview with MSNBC. According to Omar, sin and hatefulness are “synonymous with the Republican Party,” as documented by Townhall.
Why Omar Hates the Republican Party
During her time on-air, the congresswoman stated that Republicans have chosen not to separate themselves from people who have threatened her life. Omar also claimed the GOP has a penchant for “white supremacy signs,” which are really just hand symbols which mean “OK.” Shortly after professing how terrible she thinks the Republican Party is, Omar made sure to laud the merits of “unity” and “diversity.”

At the end of the day, Democrats like Omar talk a big game about unity and inclusion, but it’s all fake. The left doesn’t practice what they preach; plain and simple. In one breath, Democrats talk about the importance of love and compassion; then, they turn around and claim that anyone who supports the president is racist, sexist, homophobic, etc.
The left cannot have it both ways.
Political Double Standards
Omar’s remarks on Sunday are simply a prime example of the hypocrisy and double standards which Democrats continue to keep alive in politics. Republicans are expected to disavow and distance themselves from extremism, yet Democrats don’t follow suit when it comes to the crazies within their own party.

As a matter of fact, the Democrats have embraced radicalism and insanity; policy aside, look no further than AntiFa. The cowards of AntiFa consistently go after conservatives and anyone who they believe won’t fight back against them; Democrats have yet to disavow and instead make excuses for these people.
House Rep. Ilhan Omar doesn’t have a shred of moral superiority and should stop pretending as if she does.
