Clinton’s refusal to go away, an action which Americans on both sides of the aisle have called for, has prompted new speculations about whether she’ll enter the 2020 race. As we all know, there was a time when sources close to Clinton claimed that she had no intention of running in this current election.
However, new statements from Clinton’s own husband, Bill Clinton, assert otherwise. On Wednesday, the 42nd president declared that his wife “may or may not” run for the White House, reports The Daily Caller News Foundation.
If Clinton does, in fact, seek the presidency, it will mark her third attempt.
Reviewing Bill Clinton’s Statements on a Potential Hillary 2020 Run
Earlier this week, Clinton spent time at the Georgetown University Law School. Alongside a panel with his wife and three other individuals, the 42nd president admitted that Hillary just might run for office yet again. Shortly thereafter, Clinton noted that he can’t “legally run for president again.”
As he made these statements, Hillary could be seen smiling and nodding next to him.
News that Clinton “may or may not” enter the 2020 race comes after Gabbard’s dare for Clinton to do so. Following Clinton’s unfounded claim that Gabbard is being “groomed by the Russians,” the 2020 candidate dared her not to “cowardly hide behind proxies” and join the race.
Thus far, Hillary Clinton has yet to confirm or deny whether or not she plans to make yet another run for the White House.
Why the Democrats Should Be Nervous
As time passes, more and more folks on the left are beginning to realize that the Clinton family’s synonymity with the Democrat Party isn’t good. Leftist talk show host Bill Maher admitted this towards the end of last month; Maher stated that the Clintons aren’t doing the Democrat Party any favors and urged the family to stop inserting themselves into politics.
