During her time on Fox News‘ The Ingraham Angle, Laura Ingraham shared her thoughts on Democrats and their obsession with President Trump and issues that, in no way, pertain to the upcoming 2020 election.
Reviewing Ingraham’s Statements
The political commentator first began by explaining why Democrats are sabotaging themselves, despite what they may believe.
In Ingraham’s own words:
“Far too many of our Democrat friends have kind of driven off the deep end. They’re obsessed with Trump, they’re muttering about Mueller, Don Jr., Russia, and Bill Barr.”
Ingraham also went on to state that Democrats are failing to focus on issues that are of true importance:
“If only they spent as much time thinking about why the country elected Trump in the first place, or maybe — heaven forbid — pushing policies that actually appeal to working-class Americans. The few policies that the Democrats have actually floated have flopped. The Green New Deal is a mean new tax and Medicare for All is just another fantasy freebie.”

How Democrats’ Self-Sabotage will Harm Them in 2020
For all intents and purposes, Ingraham’s assessment is correct. The truth of the matter is that Democrats’ policies haven’t resonated with Americans; their descent into radicalism hasn’t done them any favors either. In order for Democrats to do as Ingraham stated and focus on policies which appeal to the working class, they would need to let go of extreme leftism; however, this is something which progressives have made it clear they won’t do.
For this reason, Americans should get used to more of the same from Democrats. The policies won’t change, the narratives won’t change. The various obsessions which Democrats have towards the president and those in his inner circles will remain…and these are the precise reasons why Democrats will lose yet another presidential election.
