2020 Democrat Amy Klobuchar is one of the most irrelevant individuals running to become the next president. She’s an abysmally low-polling candidate; although, Klobuchar has still somehow managed to rake in enough support to make it on the debate stages.
In the midst of her flopping run for the presidency, Klobuchar is preoccupied with screaming sexism in order to get people to feel sorry for her. On multiple occasions, the 2020 Democrat made the case that her campaign isn’t doing as well as other candidates simply because she’s a woman.
This is simply not true, seeing as other female candidates are beating out their in-party opponents. If Klobuchar’s accusations of sexism were true, then Elizabeth Warren wouldn’t be polling ahead of several male candidates.
Amy Klobuchar has also chosen to go after President Trump instead of trying to better what’s left of her campaign. Breitbart News reports Klobuchar’s claim that the president’s interactions with Ukraine are the “global version of Watergate.”
Klobuchar on Impeachment and Trump
Like many far-leftists, Klobuchar is all for impeachment, despite the lack of crime or supporting evidence. Yesterday, the 2020 Democrat appeared for a segment on ABC’s This Week and compared the president’s phone call with Ukraine leader Zelensky to “Watergate.”
Klobuchar is on record stating that she’s “very clear” on her belief that sufficient evidence for impeachment is present. Interestingly enough, however, the failing presidential candidate declined to mention what evidence she believes exists.
Shortly thereafter, Klobuchar furthermore professed that President Trump “[betrayed] the trust of the American people to a foreign power.” This is a typical, pro-impeachment, left-wing talking point; although, Klobuchar attempted to put a new spin on it by bringing up the Founding Fathers and stating that situations like the Ukraine controversy are why the Founders wanted impeachment articles in the Constitution.
Facts vs. Klobuchar
If Amy Klobuchar’s statements were accurate, then Democrats would have the necessary votes in both chambers of Congress. This move to impeach President Trump is all about not having to face him in the general election; Democrats know they’ll lose because their policies and strategies are subpar to President Trump’s.
If Klobuchar spent more time on her own presidential campaign instead of going after Trump in interviews, her campaign might be slightly less down the toilet. Like other 2020 Democrats, Klobuchar has nothing of value to offer the American people and should drop out of the race as quickly as possible.
