Kamala Harris Backs Joe Biden for President

The DNC continues working behind the scenes to ensure that Joe Biden is their 2020 nominee.

In a matter of weeks, Americans have witnessed a sudden revival of the former vice president’s campaign. Thanks to multiple endorsements from his former rivals, Biden is now leading in delegate count and the likeliest pick for the nomination. As such, 2020 will mark the DNC’s second time of working against Sanders and blocking him from the nomination.

Despite the boost that Biden got from Pete Buttigieg, Amy Klobuchar, Beto O’Rourke and Mike Bloomberg’s endorsements, the DNC isn’t done yet. On Sunday, former 2020 rival Kamala Harris also endorsed Biden’s candidacy, as documented by Breitbart News.

Like other members of her party, Harris stated that she’s known the former vice president for years and will do whatever she can to get him elected.

A Closer Look at the Latest Biden Endorsement

When endorsing Biden, Harris sung his praises to the nth degree. The California congresswoman opined that Americans “need” the former vice president’s leadership and professed that she couldn’t be prouder to endorse him.

In a video uploaded to her Twitter feed, Harris also stated that a Biden presidency will ultimately unify the nation. It’s worth noting that Harris’ endorsement comes as Biden continues to make one gaffe after the others, sometimes multiple times in one day.

From misquoting the Declaration of Independence, to lashing out at voters, and stating “we can only re-elect Donald Trump,” the former vice president’s lack of mental acuity only becomes more obvious with each passing second. Nevertheless, the fix is in for Biden and it’s very plausible that deals were made behind the scenes prior to Harris’ endorsement.

Pulling Out All Stops

Thus far, Harris is scheduled to stump for Joe Biden in Michigan later this week before the state’s residents go to the polls.

It’s important to note that Harris’ endorsement of her former rival comes after some interesting comments about women seeking office. The congresswoman recently opined that America has a problem with female candidates running for president.

Another point arose where Harris wrongly stated that there are “no more” women currently seeking the presidency. Of course, this is simply not true, seeing as Tulsi Gabbard is still a candidate in the 2020 election. Gabbard and Harris clashed with one another multiple times during the latter’s time as a presidential hopeful.

Thus far, Gabbard remains as one of the three remaining candidates in this year’s race for the White House.
