Judicial Watch Sues for FBI Files on Twitter and Election Controversy

Is the FBI hiding something about Hunter Biden’s laptop? Judicial Watch seems to think so, and they’re not backing down.

Judicial Watch’s Legal Battle

Judicial Watch filed a lawsuit in April 2023 against the DOJ, DHS, and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. This legal action seeks records related to the “Twitter Files” and Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop.

The lawsuit was prompted by the FBI’s lack of response to a December 2022 FOIA request. The request aimed to uncover communications between FBI personnel and Twitter figures from June 2020 to December 2022.

Uncovering Censorship Efforts

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton expressed frustration over resorting to federal court for information. The organization has documented censorship efforts affecting millions of Americans through FOIA requests and legal action.

In November 2024, Judicial Watch obtained DHS records showing a campaign to suppress social media posts about 2020 election fraud. Additionally, June 2024 records revealed state officials flagged so-called misinformation to entities like the Center for Internet Security and the Election Integrity Partnership.

A Call for Transparency

December 2023 DHS documents showed real-time narrative tracking on social media before the 2020 election. Judicial Watch’s findings suggest coordination between the DHS, CISA, and EIP for digital content suppression.

“It is frustrating beyond belief for Judicial Watch to have to go to federal court for basic information on Biden’s abuse of the FBI, using Twitter to censor and monitor Americans.” – Tom Fitton

November 2023 records pointed to EIP’s influence over tech giants like Google and Facebook to suppress disinformation. Despite FBI Director Kash Patel’s promise of transparency, Judicial Watch remains relentless in uncovering government’s behind-the-scenes activities.
