House Democrats made a tactical error when they chose to stuff their sham impeachment through the lower chamber of Congress. Ignoring the conservative minority, Democrats rammed through two bogus articles that lacked basis, merit, and truth. Of course, the sham resulted in a clean-sweep acquittal for the president. This, in and of itself, is a loss for Democrats; however, they’re still not out of the woods just yet.

Political actions have political ramifications, especially actions that reach the magnitude of impeachment. Time and time again, Democrats chose to ignore the feedback and interests of Americans. They didn’t listen to the polls showing that the majority of people in this country opposed Trump’s impeachment; likewise, Democrats disregarded their GOP congressional colleagues who also voiced disapproval towards impeachment.
As a result of their decision to weaponize the impeachment process solely for the purpose of taking down an innocent, duly-elected commander-in-chief, Democrats are on the fast track to losing their majority in the House, reports Breitbart News.
The Greatest Tactical Error in History
On Sunday, Trump pollster John McLaughlin sat down for an interview with New York 970 AM radio’s The Cats Roundtable. Throughout this interview, McLaughlin explained why the course of events, poll numbers, and history are each on the president’s side. Furthermore, the Trump pollster revealed that Democrats’ antics in Congress have only fired up the president’s base, energizing them to vote for him this November.
Ultimately, McLaughlin denounced the left’s impeachment sham as an “embarrassment” that utterly and completely “backfired” on Democrats. Then, the pollster explained that since Trump’s job approval is at or around 50%, he’ll win re-election.
McLaughlin also pointed out that previous presidents such as Obama and Bush have won re-election campaigns with job approval ratings around the 50% mark. Democrats are very much aware of this and, therefore, flustered and terrified.
A Lesson for Future Congressional Bodies
Hopefully, the failed stunt that Democrats pulled, combined with the subsequent outcomes to follow, will serve as a lesson to future congressional bodies. Weaponizing the impeachment process because one party doesn’t like a president is un-American. After all, Republicans never did this when Obama was in office.

Hopefully, Democrats will learn their lesson as time goes on…or not. Either way, Trump is acquitted for life and set to win re-election. The left did not weaken and remove the president as they intended to; their antics had the opposite effect and only solidified Trump while firing up his base.
