House Democrats are desperate, running scared, and utterly beaten, although they won’t admit this to themselves or to America.
After wasting weeks on impeachment proceedings and forcing a deeply unpopular series of impeachment articles through the government, the House won’t even turn them over to the Senate for a trial. Instead, Pelosi’s making all these demands about the technicalities she wants the Senate to commit to a trial, but this is not her call.

Now, new developments from Breitbart News show that Democrats are toying with the prospect of bringing additional impeachment articles against Trump. Apparently, the House Judiciary Committee believes that testimony from former White House counsel Doug McGahn could open up a new window for the House to slam the president with additional “charges.”
In truth, this is quite rich coming from a party whose Speaker won’t even turn over the current impeachment articles to the Senate, as the Constitution calls her to.
Grasping at Straws to Re-Impeach
As Leader Kevin McCarthy stated last week, the impeachment articles which House Democrats brought against Trump are the “weakest” and the “thinnest” in American history. There was no quid-pro-quo, but this didn’t stop Democrats from persisting with their hoax and ultimately embarrassing themselves.
Nevertheless, the House Judiciary Committee recently submitted a brief over to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals; in this brief, Democrats make the case that the testimony of former aide McGahn could open up new doors for additional impeachment articles. So, in layman’s terms, as the Democrats sit on their current articles of impeachment, they are actively seeking ways to bring new ones against Trump.
The obsession which Democrats have with impeaching a duly-elected president who has done no wrong is bold beyond words. If the left put an iota of this energy towards actually working with Republicans to get things done, America would be so much less divided.
Why “Impeachment” Doesn’t Really Matter
House Democrats can keep looking for ways to bring new impeachment articles against Trump, but as long as Republicans control the Senate, these articles will go to die. Likewise, if Democrats continue bringing impeachment articles against the president and refusing to pass them along to the Senate for a trial, then Trump will be rightfully exonerated and cleared by default.

What the House Democrats are doing right now is a coup to overturn the 2016 election results and avoid the 2020 election results which they so greatly fear.
