Hillary Wants a "Rematch" with Trump in 2020

Since the 2016 presidential election, failed candidate Hillary Clinton has repeatedly made excuses for her loss. To be clear, Clinton has blamed everyone from Democrats to Republicans, TV news networks, and various other entities.

It doesn’t seem to occur to Clinton that she simply did a poor job and ran a snoozefest of a campaign; moreover, she doesn’t appear to realize that Americans didn’t want her as president. Now, Clinton will claim that it’s because she’s a woman, but in actuality, the nation didn’t want her because of her poor policies, abysmal track record, and disregard for voters who supported then-candidate Trump.

Now, Clinton is back and clearly still not over her epic loss to the current president. During Tuesday’s segment of PBS NewsHour, the failed candidate made some interesting statements. Breitbart News reports Clinton’s claims that she can beat Trump “again” and her interest in having a “rematch” with Trump in another presidential election.

What You Need to Know about Clinton’s Latest Remarks on Trump

Since Trump’s time in office, Hillary Clinton has repeatedly accused him of various wrongdoings and made every excuse in the book to explain away her loss in 2016. It comes as no shock that she’s now supportive of the impeachment inquiry which the House Democrats are conducting.

During Clinton’s remarks, she addressed a tweet in which the president called her out for the acid washing of her infamous emails.

Clinton subsequently responded via Twitter by telling the president not to “tempt” her and to “do [his] job.”

Then, on PBS NewsHour, Clinton claimed that Trump’s aforementioned tweet is an indicator of his “obsession” with her.

In Clinton’s own words:

“it truly is remarkable how obsessed he remains with me. But this latest tweet is so typical of him. Nothing has been more examined and looked at than my emails. We all know that. So, he’s either lying or delusional, or both. There was no subpoena, as he says in a tweet this morning. So, maybe there does need to be a rematch. I mean, obviously, I can beat him again!”

“Again?” If Clinton believes that she beat Trump in 2016, then she truly is the delusional one, despite referring to the president as such. The reality is that Clinton never beat Trump because the popular vote does not determine the outcome of presidential elections.

At the end of the day, no matter how she tries to spin it, Clinton was absolutely destroyed by Trump in the 2016 election and she’s clearly still not over it after nearly three years.

More to Come

Unfortunately, it’s unlikely that we’ve seen or heard the last of Clinton. With the 2020 presidential election season here, there’s already talk that Clinton has begun “advising” various left-wing candidates who hope to face President Trump in the general election.

Contrary to her beliefs, the president is not “obsessed” with Clinton. However, it’s plain as day that Clinton’s loss to Trump still haunts her, as does the reality that no matter what she says about Trump on Twitter or in interviews, she will NEVER become president of the United States.
