Hatred and animosity towards President Trump are core hallmarks of the Democrat Party. Instead of being motivated by the interest of serving the American public, Democrats are eager to “resist” the president, even to their own detriment. This explains why so many members of the party have embraced radical leftism, while abandoning ethics and reason.
The 2020 Democrat candidates certainly haven’t tried to conceal their abhorrence for the current commander-in-chief. In addition to making false accusations and hurling various cheap shots, left-wing contenders are apparently also boycotting institutions which don’t bow down to Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Documentation from Breitbart News confirms that 2020 Democrat Kamala Harris was previously set to attend a criminal justice forum hosted at South Carolina’s Benedict College; however, Harris canceled her plans to attend the event after learning that Benedict College acknowledged and formally honored the president’s criminal justice work.
A Closer Look at Why Harris Pulled Out
Instead of attending the criminal justice forum which was scheduled for today, Harris has decided to discuss criminal justice reform elsewhere in South Carolina. The 2020 Democrat furthermore issued a very interesting public statement about her cancellation of the event; in this public statement, Harris condemns Benedict College in a series of manners.
Per Harris’ own words, she doesn’t want to “paper over” what she views as Trump’s poor record on criminal justice reform. Despite the president’s notable criminal justice reform accomplishments, including the passing of the First Step Act, Harris continues to stick by her anti-Trump narrative.
In other parts of her statement, the 2020 Democrat accused Trump of “rolling back police-accountability measures” and pushing for “innocent black children” to face the death penalty.
As Harris’ campaign continues to go further down the toilet, her censure against the president has increased. Many view this as an attempt to gain momentum by having Trump respond to her. Harris also recently got into a Twitter back-and-forth with Donald Trump Jr., the president’s eldest son.
The Truth About Trump and Criminal Justice Reform
If Kamala Harris possessed the capability to free herself from Trump Derangement Syndrome, she’d realize the truth about criminal justice reform and this president. After all, there is a reason why Benedict College chose to honor Trump’s accomplishments in this particular field.
Since President Trump’s time in office, he’s not only passed the First Step Act, but also approved the release of previous, non-violent offenders who were set for life in prison; one of the most famous examples of this is Alice Marie Johnson.

However, the facts do not matter to Democrats like Kamala Harris. As previously stated, they are fueled by hatred for the current president; this hatred will be the precise thing which engenders the Democrats’ own downfall.
