Anyone who is familiar with progressive stances on economic issues knows that Democrats’ grasp on how money works is flimsy at best. This reality continues to prove itself as the left-wing advocates for monstrous policies which would prompt government intrusion upon individual autonomy and earnings. Furthermore, progressives have become infamous for failing to realize that raising taxes on wealthy Americans will not pay for their socialist programs.
The left-wing claims to care for the middle class, but then later divulges their interest in raising taxes on the middle class to sanction Medicare-for-All and free healthcare for illegal immigrants. These are not people who understand economics, by any stretch of the imagination.
It appears as though Democrats’ failure to comprehend money and finances is beginning to sabotage them in additional manners. Fox News reports that 2020 Democrat candidates are blowing through campaign funds faster than they’re raking in campaign funds. Remember, these are the people who want to govern this nation as president.
Why are Democrats Blowing Through Funds?
In a nutshell, high spending amongst Democrat candidates boils down to desperation. Certain candidates know they aren’t doing so well and so they’re aggressively spending money in various blind attempts to reach more voters, travel to more places, and gain ground in the polls.
The candidates who are engaging in the most reckless managements of funds include Beto O’Rourke, Tulsi Gabbard, Cory Booker, Kirsten Gillibrand, and others. None of these candidates are in first, second, or even third place in the polls amongst Democrat voters.
That’s quite telling because, at the end of the day, no matter how much money you blow, if voters don’t believe in you as a candidate, you simply aren’t going to make it. Reports have already affirmed that the aforementioned candidates cannot continue to burn through funds and maintain their campaigns.
The Second Democrat Primary Debate
As it stands, the second Democrat primary debate is going to be very telling for a lot of these progressive candidates. Americans should expect to see competition tighten even more and witness candidates gradually drop out of the race.
Many of the present individuals lack name recognition, news coverage, and the overall interest of the people in this country. Although, why certain candidates have chosen to remain in a race where they aren’t even pulling in 1% has left many Americans confused.
The dates for the second Democrat primary debates are July 30th and July 31st.
