Facebook Blocks White House Social Media Director

Social media censorship continues to strike against conservatives. New developments from The Daily Caller News Foundation affirms that Facebook recently blocked White House social media director Dan Scavino Jr. from posting on the site.

Reviewing the Censorship of Scavino

On Monday evening, Scavino went to make a post on Facebook, as per usual. He was then surprised to get a notification which informed him of supposed violated Facebook Community Standards and stated that certain users on the platform reported his posts as “spam.”

Of course, Facebook neglected to alert Scavino about the precise posts which prompted the temporary censorship. News of the ban spread like wildfire; so much so that even first son Donald Trump Jr. weighed in with his own thoughts about the matter via Twitter.

In his own words:

Censorship of Conservatives of Social Media

Regrettably, this latest report of conservative censorship is no shock to anyone who has been paying attention. Since the election of President Trump, the left-leaning Silicon Valley has seriously cracked down on right-wing speech via social media. Many people in this country did not expect the president to defeat Hillary Clinton in 2016. Now, Democrats are desperate for power and they believe that censoring conservatives online is the best way to regain lost power.

This is truly unfortunate, but more and more people are getting sick of it. Just yesterday, House Intelligence Committee member Devin Nunes brought an over $250 million dollar lawsuit against Twitter for anti-conservative bias, defamation, and libel. If Facebook continues on its current trajectory of censoring users on their site, Facebook may soon find themselves in a similar bind as Twitter.

The news regarding the censorship of Scavino comes at an interesting time with the 2020 presidential election being right around the corner.
