Dems Continue Their Assault on The Trump Administration By Launching Another Probe

With each failed attempt, the Democrats’ desperation to bring about the downfall of President Trump becomes more apparent and more pathetic.

Since the ongoing Russia investigation has turned out to be a fruitless endeavor, Democrats are pursuing another route which they are hoping will finally take down the president.

The New Probe

Jerry Nadler, the House Judiciary Committee chairman, revealed during an interview that the Committee is moving to gather documentation from members of the Trump White House administration and the Trump Organization. Of course, Nadler maintains that the Committee is doing this in order to shield the “rule of law.”

“It’s our job to protect the rule of law. That’s our core function. And to do that we are going to initiate investigations into abuses of power, into corruption and into obstruction of justice. The White House seems to have used its power for personal enrichment in violation of the emoluments clause of the Constitution. We don’t have the facts yet, but we’re going to initiate proper investigations. Before you impeach somebody, you have to persuade the American public that it ought to happen.”

Like many Americans, however, President Trump is not convinced that this is just about maintaining the law of the land. In fact, the president has taken to Twitter to express his thoughts and frustrations with the Democrats and a probe which has maintained for nearly two years while yielding no results.

Trump furthermore called out the Democrats for their interview with his disgraced, ex-attorney Michael Cohen.
