Democrat Hypocrisy on Full Display

When questioned about the historical Virginia lieutenant governor victory of Winsome Sears (who will be the first female lt. governor of Virgnia, the first black female elected in the state, and the very first naturalized citizen to assume the office), Squad members did not answer.

No Suprise About the Squad

Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, Cori Bush (as well as Ayanna Pressley’s cabinet secretaries and Ilhan Omar’s top aide) were contacted by Fox News for commentary on Sears’ victory early Wednesday.

By the end of Wednesday, none of the representatives replied to the inquiries. “I’m reminding you, what you’re seeing is the American dream,” Sears, a conservative, said during her winning address early Wednesday.

Sears, a Marine Corps hero, was born in Jamaica and moved to the United States as a kid. She previously worked in Virginia’s House of Representatives from 2002 to 2004.

After serving in the House of Representatives, Sears ran for lieutenant governor in 2021, marking her comeback to politics. “I’m black, in case you didn’t notice, since I’ve been black my entire life, but that’s not the point “she went on.

“What we’re going to do now is focus on commonwealth commerce,” she said. “We have a lot of stuff to take care of. Our historically black universities and colleges will be fully funded. Our homes and towns will be safer, and our children will receive an excellent education.”

Notwithstanding their history of backing other women and women of color running for government, Fox News analyzed the Squad members’ Twitter feeds and found no mention of Sears’ historic victory.

Tlaib, for instance, tweeted about other black candidates’ electoral victories, calling them “amazing.”

Pressley’s Twitter feed also congratulated Michelle Wu on her victory as mayor of Boston, making her the city’s first female and first woman of color mayor.

All Praise for the New Mayor of Boston

“Boston City Councilwoman, mother, and MAYOR OF BOSTON. Activist, champion, sister-in-service, partner-in-good. @wutrain, please accept my hearty congratulations. Boston is waiting for you.”

Wu is the child of Taiwanese migrants, according to Pressley.

Sears will run Virginia with Glenn Youngkin, who defeated Democrat Terry McAuliffe in the gubernatorial race. At his winning address, Youngkin stated, “My fellow Virginians, we sit here this morning at a watershed moment, a watershed moment that began with two folks taking a walk.”

“It was a watershed moment that resulted in millions of Virginians marching together, traveling together, having the same hopes and dreams which have always been rooted in my soul.”

Funny, isn’t it? The Squad is all about change and equality, unless it’s a Republican conservative. When they mean freedom, they mean only for the leftist elites. If you are black, you may only succeed if you vote Democrat.
