Democrat Establishment Unites to Prevent Sanders' Nomination

Members of the Democrat establishment truly do not want Bernie Sanders to ever be their nominee in a presidential election. Americans witnessed the DNC screw over the socialist in 2016 by awarding Hillary Clinton with a plethora of superdelegates and employing other means to hand her the nomination. Now, with the 2020 election here and upon us, the strings are being pulled in a different way.

Within less than 24 hours, “moderate” Democrats Pete Buttigieg and Amy Klobuchar suspended their presidential campaigns and endorsed Joe Biden. Texas Democrat and former 2020 contender Beto O’Rourke also joined the fray, backing the former vice president as the ideal pick to face President Trump in a general election.

Like many other Americans, the president has stated that the timing of Buttigieg and Klobuchar’s endorsements and dropouts indicates that a deal took place behind the scenes, according to Breitbart News.

Secret Deals Behind Closed Doors

The timing of Buttigieg and Klobuchar’s endorsements is a little too convenient. What are the odds that two quasi-moderate candidates, on the eve of Super Tuesday no less, magically decide to suspend their campaigns and get on Team Biden? It’s quite obvious that certain agreements were made behind the scenes, as the president already stated.

Needless to say, Biden will most likely win the Democrat nomination and then get absolutely destroyed by President Trump in the general election. This is something that many Americans predicted months ago; however, Sanders’ wins in Nevada and New Hampshire apparently prompted the Democrat establishment to take swift action and block his chances of becoming the nominee.

So much for the socialist’s previous claims that his candidacy is “unstoppable.”

The Hillary Clinton of 2020

Joe Biden is 2020’s version of Hillary Clinton because all the backing from Democrat elites won’t save him from getting slaughtered by Trump once the primaries are over. Like Clinton, Biden has a series of horrible flaws and doesn’t stand a chance of posing a serious threat to a second term of Trump.

Two examples of Biden’s unique flaws took place just yesterday; the former vice president failed to correctly cite a quote from the Declaration of Independence and confused Super Tuesday for “Super Thursday.”

It’s actually quite telling that Democrats would choose to unite around Biden; if the left sincerely believes that the former vice president stands a chance of winning against Trump, they’re not living in the real world with the rest of Americans.
