The 2021 Georgia runoffs for the U.S. Senate resulted in Democrats Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock clawing out wins against former Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler. Ossoff unseated Perdue by just 55K votes of 4.5 million; meanwhile, Warnock unseated Loeffler by only 93K votes of 4.5 million.
Now, Ossoff will not be up for re-election until 2026; however, Warnock is up for re-election next year since he is completing the term of a previous senator’s vacancy. This means that Republicans in Georgia have a chance for a do-over of sorts and can make Warnock’s time as a senator very short.
Yesterday evening, news broke that Perdue filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission to challenge Warnock in the 2022 midterm elections, confirms Breitbart News.
The Possibility of Perdue vs. Warnock in 2022
Perdue’s filed paperwork means that his likelihood of making a run against Warnock is exponentially high. At this time, the former Republican senator has not made any announcements regarding his decision to run against Warnock.

However, per a Perdue adviser, the businessman has “heavy leanings” towards officially starting a campaign for the seat Warnock currently holds. Georgians and the rest of the nation will learn next month whether or not a Perdue vs. Warnock race is happening.
Warnock, for his part, has already begun seeking donations to hold onto his seat after 2022. Should Perdue unseat Warnock, this would significantly impact the power balance in the Senate, along with indicating that Georgia may not be so blue after all.
Regaining Power in Congress
Warnock, like other Democrats in Congress, is merely a rubber stamp for the radical socialist agenda of the Biden administration.
This radical socialist agenda entails mass amnesty, anti-Second Amendment policy, higher taxes, new shutdowns, and more. Warnock additionally has a history of making racially-charged, anti-American statements and supporting the demise of cash bail.

Republicans are already very close to regaining control of the House of Representatives in the next year’s midterm elections. If the GOP is also able to win back the Senate in 2022, it will mark a significant game-changer for the nation and for power in Congress.
Perdue in the Senate would serve as a check on the most radical and anti-American policies that the Biden administration seeks to perpetrate.
