Production and distribution rates for the coronavirus vaccine are surging. Across the nation, more and more Americans are getting vaccinated against COVID-19; moreover, the eligibility for the coronavirus vaccine is rapidly expanding with more and more people being able to get their shots.
Reports have also indicated that travel is surging. Last Thursday, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) wound up screening over 1.4 million people. States are also lifting mask mandates and other COVID-19 restrictions. In a nutshell, all the signs show that Americans are ready to return to their normal lives.
According to Washington Examiner, coronavirus vaccines are leading to a surge in public morale that the COVID-19 pandemic is gradually coming to an end.
Increased Public Confidence in the End of the Pandemic
According to a Gallup poll put out earlier this month, six out of ten adults in the country believe that the coronavirus pandemic is getting better. Only 14% believe the situation is worsening; meanwhile, 26% stated that the COVID-19 pandemic isn’t changing.
Last week marked a turning point for airline travel. The TSA reports that it screened over 1.3M people at airports last Friday, marking the highest number of passengers on a single day since March 15, 2020. @Lebeaucarnews has the story. https://t.co/gfOMEO3UOh pic.twitter.com/OeoTQAa5gm

Since January, the rates of coronavirus infections have fallen. 2021 alone has shown more and more Americans being confident that the worst and darkest days of COVID-19 are gone. A broadening accessibility to vaccinations against coronavirus is also leaving more people confident that they can get beyond this pandemic.
The number of Americans being vaccinated everyday is in the millions and climbing. If COVID-19 vaccinations persist at their current rate, then three-fourths of the nation will be vaccinated against coronavirus within five months time.
Bringing an End to COVID-19
Americans are collectively sick of the coronavirus pandemic. Countless people want to return to normal, travel, spend time with friends, go out to bars, etc.
There is also growing pushback against mask mandates and calls for social distancing; many Americans are ultimately questioning why masks and social distancing are necessary in the wake of the COVID-19 vaccine. This is a situation that Sen. Rand Paul and Dr. Anthony Fauci sparred about during a congressional hearing last week.

As weeks and months pass, confidence in the end of the pandemic is more and more likely to grow. At this time, all the signs indicate a societal shift back to normal life pre-coronavirus.
