Chicago Man Suffers Instant Karma When He Tries To Rob Woman With A Concealed Carry Permit

The importance of the Second Amendment continues to manifest in various ways. Last week, a Chicago woman managed to defend herself against a man who attempted to rob her. Thanks to the woman’s concealed carry license, she was able to put a swift end to the attempted robbery, according to The Daily Caller News Foundation.

A Closer Look at the Incident

The attempted robbery occurred at a bus station in Chicago, Illinois. The 25-year-old woman happened to be near a bus stop when she was targeted by the 19-year-old male. The male approached her and became physical, thus prompted a violent struggle. The altercation came to a climatic end when the woman managed to pull out her gun and put a bullet in the attempted robber’s neck.
After being shot, the 19-year-old managed to get away from the scene. Eventually, he crossed paths with law enforcement officers who took him to the hospital, but it was too late for him. Upon the man’s arrival, he died from the gunshot wound. The area in which the 25-year-old experienced the attack is known for violence, particularly against women.
A local who lived in the Chicago area also provided a statement regarding the incident:

“It’s tragic that he did die, but the lady had to do what she had to do. I’m kinda of proud that, like, that’s what she did because she stuck up for herself.”

Since the woman acted in self-defense, there will be no charges brought against her.

Why the Second Amendment Matters

The incident which happened in Chicago ultimately had a happy ending; however, it could have ended very differently, if not for the woman having a concealed carry permit. At the end of the day, this ties back to the Second Amendment, an amendment which conservatives have habitually defended and stood for.
It’s actually quite ironic because left-wingers profess to love and care for women; yet, if progressives had their way, the woman in Chicago would have either been robbed or seriously injured. Her possession of a concealed carry permit and firearm are the reasons why she was able to fend off the attacker and avoid being robbed or precariously injured.
