: Michael Cohen, who once famously claimed he was willing to “take a bullet” for Donald Trump before later turning against his boss, was sentenced to 3 years in prison Wednesday by a federal judge after pleading guilty to numerous crimes

Before being told his fate by a federal judge in New York City Wednesday, Cohen said he takes “full responsibility” for his crimes, which includes a series of campaign finance violations, tax evasion and lying to Congress. He is required to pay a number of fines and will report to prison in March, giving him time to get his affairs in order.
