‘Border At Breaking Point’: Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton Reacts

The issues with exist at the United States Southern border continue to become more and more apparent.

During an interview with The Daily Caller News Foundation, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton explained the issues which are occurring at the Southern border and explained his reasoning for supporting President Trump’s recent national emergency declaration.

What’s Happening at the Southern Border

Despite the ignorance from the left-wing, there are some serious things happening at the Southern border of this country. During his interview, Paxton noted that the expense of the president’s border wall pales in comparison to fees which are incurred from existing crises.

In Paxton’s own words:

“I have seen studies that the building of the wall is actually less expensive than what we’re having to spend on a regular basis for all of the different services that we’re having to provide and again it’s an unfunded mandate from the federal government. They’re the ones that are allowing this to occur, they’re abdicating their responsibility and then leaving us border states with the cost.”

The Texas Attorney General’s remarks come after reports that illegal immigration at the Southern border has mounted by as much as 300%.

The Crisis at the Border

There are many people in this country who are not aware of why illegal immigration is so problematic and dangerous. The disregard for America’s immigration laws is only the tip of the iceberg. The process of unlawfully entering this country is very hazardous; women and children suffer the most. In many cases, they are subjected to sexual abuse and other heinous crimes.

Sadly, this is a reality which Democrats don’t want to acknowledge. Instead, they’d rather stick their heads in the sand and pretend like everyone who comes to the Southern border is a good person who was just dealt a bad hand in life. That’s not the case at all and it’s a very insidious narrative which the left-wing is shamelessly and fragrantly promoting.
