The continuation of the 2020 presidential election is causing certain candidates to field their options regarding prospective running mates. In politics, a candidate’s running mate plays a significant role and is typically able to pick up additional support from voters. A suitable running mate can easily propel someone to victory, while a poor pick can derail their campaign altogether.

Thus far, many Americans are willing to acknowledge the real possibility of 2020 Democrat Joe Biden winning his party’s nomination. Despite the former vice president’s countless blunders and inability to handle tough questions without lashing out, he’s an establishment candidate through and through. The DNC has already proven their favor of elitist puppets whose strings are easy to pull and control.
Moreover, it appears that Biden himself believes that he’ll win the nomination. Washington Examiner reports the 2020 Democrat’s claims that he “sure would like” former first lady Michelle Obama to be his running mate.
Why Biden Wants Obama on the Ticket
With Iowa caucuses coming up next week, the former vice president is eager to ramp up as much support as possible in this state.
Yesterday, Biden spent time gathering with supporters in Muscatine for a campaign event. During this period, the candidate took questions from audience members who wondered which individuals Biden would surround himself with, in the event of winning the nomination and the presidency.
When one supporter asked Biden whether or not he’d appoint “Obama” to serve on the Supreme Court, he stated yes; however, Biden also noted that he didn’t believe Obama would accept the position, even though he’d “be a great Supreme Court Justice.”
Shortly thereafter, the same man asked “which Obama” Biden was referring to. Amused, the former vice president professed that Michelle Obama would a terrific vice president. Shortly thereafter, Biden further sang the praises of the Obama family, citing them as “incredibly qualified,” “honorable,” and “decent.”
Will Michelle Obama be Biden’s Vice President?
Much to the disappointment of Democrats, Michelle Obama has repeatedly stated that she has no interest in seeking public office. For a time, certain members of the party were even claiming Obama herself should run as president; however, the former first lady continues to maintain that there are no chances of this happening.

Thus far, Michelle Obama has not come out and publically responded to Biden’s statements. She has, however, previously made no bones about going after Trump supporters and expressing hatred for America. In light of these details, it’s actually quite fitting that Biden would want her as his running mate.
