Biden Vows to "Take Down" Gun Manufacturers

Democrat candidate Joe Biden continues to campaign in South Carolina. With the state’s primary coming up, the former vice president is doing all he can to regain some momentum in the 2020 race.

Thus far, Biden is struggling to pose as a viable challenge to rival Bernie Sanders who emerged victorious in both the New Hampshire primary and the Nevada caucus. Despite the time that Biden is spending in South Carolina, his lack of confidence that he’ll win this primary is more than apparent; the 2020 Democrat previously cited this state as his “firewall,” but then later backed off once he was questioned about this declaration.

On Monday, Biden spoke to South Carolinians and spend time disparaging lawful gun owners, as reported by Breitbart News. According to the 2020 Democrat, he plans to “take down” gun manufacturers if he wins the presidential election.

Reviewing Biden’s Threat Against Gun Manufacturers

Per the former vice president’s own admission, he doesn’t think much of the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act (PLCAA). The PLCAA came into inception 15 years ago and is designed to protect gun manufacturers from facing legal suits when their firearms are legally created and sold.

Yesterday didn’t mark Biden’s first time criticizing the aforementioned law either. The 2020 Democrat has chosen to vilify the PLCAA several times throughout his candidacy, particularly in Nevada and New Hampshire.

In any event, Biden spent Monday night letting his supporters and the world know just how he plans to treat gun manufacturers if he becomes president. The Democrat candidate didn’t mince words, stating that he had “news” for gun manufacturers before warning that he’s “coming for [them]” and will “take [them] down.”

Putting the Cart Before the Horse

At this time, Biden is in no position to be making declarations to take anyone down. His statements about gun manufacturers come as Biden’s own campaign consistently loses momentum. After making countless blunders and insulting voters across America, the former vice president has yet to score a victory in any caucus or primary; thus far, Biden also has zero delegates.

The 2020 Democrat’s rehearsed talking points against gun manufacturers only speak to his desperation as a presidential candidate. As priorly stated, Biden’s remarks aren’t new and they don’t provide left-wing voters with any further information about his candidacy.

At this time, the former vice president is currently leading in the South Carolina poll; however, Sanders is only three percentage points behind him. Only time will tell which candidate walks away as the winner of the state’s primary election.
