At this very moment, several batches of coronavirus vaccines are being shipped to different parts of the country. The shipments are arriving following the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)’s green light for the Pfizer vaccine’s emergency use.
There is a strong push for Americans to be vaccinated; however, the public already has some concerns. These concerns have also been advanced by reports of COVID-19 vaccine recipients passing out, suffering allergic reactions, and even going into anaphylactic shock post-injection.
Nonetheless, political public figures on both sides of the aisle are being publicly vaccinated against COVID-19 on camera. These publicity stunts are designed to engender trust in the coronavirus vaccine.
Over the weekend, updates broke that Joe Biden will receive the coronavirus vaccine as soon as tomorrow, per Breitbart News.
Vaccinated Before the Nation
Jen Psaki, Biden’s chosen press secretary for his White House administration, announced that he’d be vaccinated against the infamous virus on Monday. Biden’s public vaccination will take place in Delaware; then, one week later, Kamala Harris and her husband will also be publicly vaccinated against COVID-19.
President-elect Joe Biden and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, are set to be vaccinated for Covid-19 this Monday, making good on a pledge to take the vaccine in public. According to Psaki, the delay in Biden and Harris’ vaccinations is intentional. The chosen press secretary for Biden’s administration stated that this delay is designed to prevent “the leaders of the incoming [White House] administration” all suffering from possible side effects of the vaccine simultaneously.
On Friday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was also vaccinated against COVID-19 on camera, as was Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY).
Will Public Vaccinations Increase Public Confidence?
Ultimately, time will tell the impact that public vaccinations have regarding Americans’ confidence in the coronavirus vaccine.
All over social media, news of adverse reactions to the COVID-19 vaccine is spreading. Many Americans want answers; the reports of allergic reactions, vaccine recipients passing out, going into shock, etc., follow initial apprehensions regarding this vaccine and the time in which it arrived to market.
A nurse at my moms work went into anaphylaxis shock 10 minutes after getting the vaccine the other day. She’s still in the hospital. Won’t see that on the news. WAKE UP they’re using us as human trials

On another note, conspiracies regarding the public vaccinations of politicians have already begun online. Some people are warning that politicians may not be receiving the true vaccine, but rather saline or another placebo; others have shared images which suggest that caps are being kept on the needles used to administer the vaccines to public officials.
