Biden States That Republicans Are a Threat to Democracy

Biden stated in his address at Union Station in Washington, D.C., “We must speak out with a resounding cry opposing political violence and voter suppression, completely.”

“Take a stance and speak out against it.”

Biden Discriminates

Biden did cite the assault on Paul Pelosi, the January 6 rioting on Capitol Hill, and the harassing of public voting personnel, but he failed to provide instances of leftist political brutality.

In July, a man attempted to knife Rep. Lee Zeldin, the Republican nominee for governor of New York. In October, a woman allegedly bit a participant at an event for Republican Tudor Dixon in Detroit, Michigan.

In October, a political volunteer for Marco Rubio was brutally assaulted by four persons who reportedly told him Republicans just weren’t permitted in their community.

In his dismissing of “violent” Republicans, Biden failed to address the armed guy who was apprehended outside Brett Kavanaugh’s residence in June for plotting to assassinate the Supreme Court justice.

However, Biden emphasized the violence perpetrated by “Extreme MAGA” towards Democrats and other Republicans. Biden’s pitch to the American people explicitly warned that Republican voters endangered American democracy.

President Biden encouraged Democrats to vote in the upcoming midterm elections or “let the forces of darkness that yearn for power” to erode American democracy.

Biden warned the gathering of followers not to take the elections for granted. The president stated Democrats were obligated to vote since Republicans were unfit to hold governmental power.

Biden stated, “We’re confronting a pivotal moment.”

During his speech, Biden relied largely on earlier language depicting the midterm elections as a chance to combat the political radicalism of the Republican Party.

Biden’s remarks come less than one week after the violent attack on the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in San Francisco, California.

Whilst reason for the attack remains unknown, Democrats have already been quick to assert that Pelosi and her family were targeted, due to years of GOP opposition.

Recent surveys indicate, however, that individuals do not subscribe to the rhetoric in the midst of 40-year high inflation.

While Biden’s approval numbers improved in over the last week, a Fox News poll conducted this month revealed Republicans lead Democrats on the congressional choice ballot among potential voters.

The same survey indicated 89% of voters were mainly worried about inflation and rising costs, but only 74% expressed the same level of concern about the nation’s continuing political differences.

Ronna Romney McDaniel, chairwoman of the Republican National Committee, stated, “Joe Biden pledged togetherness, but has rather maligned and smeared Americans whilst making life more costly for all.”

“While Republicans stay concentrated on the problems that matter far more to voters, Biden and Democrats are floundering in the closing days as they have lost contact with the problems of vulnerable households.”

Biden Uses Fear-Mongering

Several Republicans have also been quick to condemn Biden’s remarks, claiming the president was using fear-mongering to improve the political chances of Democrats.
