The Democrat Party and its allies seem to be in their own little world when it comes to mask mandates. Furthermore, the pro-forced masking rhetoric from the left shows just how insulated they are from other Americans.
As time goes on, fewer people across the nation are willingly embracing face coverings. Countless Americans have brought lawsuits against issuers of mask mandates and otherwise just refused to wear them. Democrats, on the other hand, seem to believe that pushing even stricter and more draconian mandates is the proper response.
Earlier this week, Democrat 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden railed against opposition to mask mandates. He even questioned, “what’s the matter” with advisors such as Dr. Scott Atlas who have urged people to oppose these severely Orwellian mask mandates, per Breitbart News.
Moving the Goalposts on Mask-wearing
Democrats have repeatedly moved the goalposts regarding the length of time that Americans should be expected to wear face coverings; interestingly enough, whenever previously-established deadlines are close to being met, Democrats find a way to extend the clock.
For many Americans, it’s gotten old and people are fed up. Biden, however, claimed this week that if everyone in the country masks up between now and January 21, 2021, at least 100,000 lives can be saved.

Neither Biden, nor any other Democrat, has publically talked about the dental and oral hygiene issues that are tied to mask-wearing; “mask mouth” is a term coined by dentists that comprises issues like dry mouth, rotting gums, etc.
The Vicious Cycle of Mandatory Masking
The stricter mask mandates become, the more opposition against them surges. In some places, such as Pennsylvania, Democrats are already trying to get people to wear masks in their own private residences. Others are threatening to jail people for having more than a designated number of folks over for Thanksgiving.

The idea that mask mandates are about control, rather than public health is already very much alive. Multiple Democrats from Gretchen Whitmer to Gavin Newsom, Chris Cuomo, Andrew Cuomo, and several others have flouted their own mask mandate rules and other guidelines.
When it comes to the issuers of mask mandates, “rules for thee, but not for me,” seems to be the underlying message here.
