When the Democrat Party proposes various policies, these policies have a tendency to restrict the choices of Americans and expand the power of government.
Sadly, Democrats believe the almighty government is the end-all-be-all. Moreover, they believe Uncle Sam ought to make choices about your housing, healthcare, education, high-speed internet access and more. All in all, the left aims to reduce Americans’ choices for the sake of cramming socialist policies down the throats of unwilling citizens.

House Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a shining example of the Democrat Party’s socialist agenda. The congresswoman took to Twitter on Sunday to express her frustration about the available healthcare options at her disposal. Shortly thereafter, Ocasio-Cortez reaffirmed her endorsement of Medicare-for-All, a program which would dimish the healthcare options of all Americans.
AOC on Healthcare for Americans
In her thread of tweets, Ocasio-Cortez bemoaned the fact that being a member of Congress allows her to have 66 different healthcare plans to choose from.
She stated that this amount of choices is something that “no one should go through.” Later in her online rant, Ocasio-Cortez furthermore complained that only having healthcare access after winning a seat in Congress is a “moral outrage.”

After complaining about her abundance of healthcare options, the socialist congresswoman made quite clear that she doesn’t believe Americans should have their own healthcare options.
She expressed a “need” for Medicare-for-All, a program which would yank millions of people in this country off their private healthcare plans. Never mind the fact that many Americans enjoy their private insurance; AOC believes that she and the almighty government know what’s best for Americans such as yourself.
Finally, Ocasio-Cortez wrapped things up by urging Americans who currently lack insurance to get insured.
The Importance of Choice
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez may not have the brains or the bandwidth to make her own choices on which healthcare plan she wants to benefit from. However, this does not give her the right to revoke healthcare options from other Americans.

The greatest irony here is that while AOC complains about the government’s current management of healthcare, she thinks the solution is to bring in more government, rather than less. This is precisely how the wheels of socialism turn. Whenever things don’t work out as planned, Democrats claim that adding more government will fix all problems.
