There is, and always has been, a hidden agenda in regards to the impeachment of President Donald Trump. Democrats have wanted him out of office since he arrived; moreover, the left has consistently tried to cook up reasons to impeach Trump when they couldn’t find any real ones.
Levelheaded Americans who are not poisoned by Trump Derangement Syndrome are able to see this impeachment sham for what it is. People in this country realize that impeachment proceedings are unwarranted and going absolutely nowhere. Still, the Democrat Party chooses to persist in wasting everyone’s time along with U.S. taxpayers’ dollars.

On Wednesday, House Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez appeared on air for a CNN interview and confirmed what we all know. The New York congresswoman stated that impeachment is about “preventing” a cataclysmic outcome from taking place in 2020, per reports from Breitbart News; of course, it doesn’t take a genius to realize that the House Democrat was referencing the prospect of President Trump winning a second term in office.

During her time on CNN, Ocasio-Cortez made a series of baseless accusations against Trump in order to support the partisan impeachment coup. She accused Trump of corruption and then claimed, without evidence, that Trump attempted to put “several degrees of separation” between himself and his so-called unsavory deeds.
The congresswoman also weighed in on Senate Republicans and the reality that impeachment goes nowhere without their necessary supportive votes. Ocasio-Cortez declared that the GOP must “decide what their role is going to be in the scope of history.” She also stated that future generations will look back at the “moral decisions” made by members of Congress throughout this time.
Finally, the New York congresswoman wrapped things up by admitting the true motivations behind this sham of an impeachment inquiry. Per Ocasio-Cortez’s own words, “this is about preventing a potentially disastrous outcome from occurring” in 2020.
The Desperation to Undermine the 2020 Election
Democrats at all levels know that none of their 2020 presidential candidates stand a chance at making Trump a one-term president. Next year’s election is an easy win for President Trump, especially in light of his accomplishments and the non-threatening competition; therefore, the only option the left has is to use this impeachment inquiry to boot the president out of office.

Ultimately, the left doesn’t have the evidence or the votes to impeach Trump, so these proceedings are nothing more than a complete nothingburger. As previously stated Ocasio-Cortez admitted this when stating that the ongoing treasonous inquiry is about “preventing” the occurrence of a “potentially disastrous outcome from occurring next year.”
The left has backed themselves into a corner. Failure to impeach and failure to defeat President Trump are both coming whether they like it or not.
