Andrew Yang Joins Establishment in Backing Biden

The hooks of the Democrat establishment are truly deeper than most folks realize. In a matter of weeks, the DNC got Pete Buttigieg, Amy Klobuchar, Mike Bloomberg, Beto O’Rourke, Cory Booker, Kamala Harris — and now Andrew Yang — to end their campaigns and subsequently endorse Joe Biden for president.

Americans witnessed the establishment go into full Biden protection mode after Sanders’ primary victories in Nevada and New Hampshire. Since then, the former vice president managed to have a good Super Tuesday 2.0, with a victory in at least four of yesterday’s multiple primary elections.

Andrew Yang, who terminated his presidential campaign last month, is now fully on Team Biden. The former candidate endorsed Biden last night, stating that “the math” affirms the former vice president as the Democrat nominee, reports Breitbart News.

What to Know About Yang’s Biden Endorsement

Yang’s newfound endorsement of Joe Biden arrived after the latter’s victories in Michigan, Mississippi, Idaho, and other states. Last night, the former vice president extended his delegate lead over Bernie Sanders and Tulsi Gabbard, hence increasing his likelihood of winning the Democrat Party’s nomination.

When endorsing Biden, Yang noted his previous commitment to supporting whichever candidate wins the nomination. While the former vice president is not officially the nominee, Yang pointed out his belief that Biden will eventually ascend to this position.

After stating that Biden is Democrats’ “prohibitive nominee,” the tech entrepreneur declared his endorsement and called for the unity of the Democrat Party. Yang furthermore stated that Democrats need to “defeat Donald Trump,” although why Yang believes Biden stands a chance remains unknown. After all, the former vice president’s victories come not from his own merit, but on the heels of the DNC pulling various strings in his favor.

When backing Biden’s candidacy for president, Yang declined to share his thoughts on how Biden will fare in a general election when the Democrat establishment can’t save him from Trump.

Winning the Nomination vs. Winning the Presidency

Joe Biden’s likelihood of winning the nomination is extremely high; although Biden can thank the DNC for this, not himself. The former vice president would be significantly worse off without the establishment getting former 2020 contenders to endorse him.

While Biden may win the nomination, his likelihood of winning the presidency is less than 0%. He simply doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in successfully taking on Trump. Unlike Biden, the president has a thriving economy to run on, along with a litany of other accomplishments; these accomplishments include criminal justice reform, tax reform, etc.

Biden won’t know what hit him when he is forced to face President Trump, one-on-one.
